Sing it!
Yeah!
Yeah!
To help you survive the royal wedding, and more crucially, the coverage of the royal wedding.

Just realized I never referred to this yesterday. As you probably know, Lady Gaga arrived at the Grammys in an egg. Yes, an egg.
She emerged from the egg to perform “Born This Way” (sorry about the quality).
Too much? Yes. Definitely.
I love Meghan Tonjes despite the face that I don’t really know anything about her. She is a girl who has a lovely voice and makes videos of herself singing good songs. Today she has uploaded a Gaga/Madonna/Taylor Swift mashup. I like it a lot, but it only serves to demonstrate just how hardcore the Born This Way/Express Your Similarities are. (Not sure where Taylor Swift came in but it sounds nice.)
When my little sister Aoife was a baby, Britney’s “Baby One More Time” was the biggest song in the world. It was the only thing that would shut her up when she was “demonic”. For this kid, it’s Bob Marley.
I mean, SERIOUSLY. This is the third one!
Thank God, I’ve been wondering how to tone my zygomaticus!
Seriously Cici, clear your throat and have a glass of water!
Fairness, the music in Fade Street (which is all Irish) has actually been excellent. God damn I love Wexford Paul.
HA! Arcade Fire (deservedly) won album of the year at the Grammys last night. Cue outrage and confusion from many parts of America, delightfully captured here through people’s tweets. Gas.
Congratulations to the beautiful, kind and supremely talented Dolly Parton who won a Lifetime Acheivement Award at the Grammys last night. I love that she wasn’t there because she had a family thing going on too! From her website:
Dolly was not able to attend because of a previous family obligation but did video an acceptance speech thanking the Recording Academy and all involved. In it she joked, “Just because I’m receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award doesn’t mean I’m done. I hope to win at least seven more Grammys.”
I am MEGA excited about going to see her this Summer. She is amazing and I love her. Hero.
