I am heading of to Ibiza in a couple of weeks, and happily I am flying Aer Lingus. Just this morning I went online and paid for a bag to be checked in because I couldn’t face the humiliation these poor, poor girls endured.
Been there…NEVER AGAIN.

This has happened to me twice now…and mine is a very common handluggage-sized suitcase. Unimpressed.
What really gets me is the fact that anything at all- a handbag, a shopping bag- is considered a piece of luggage, even if it would fit in the back of the seat in front of you.
I know, the whole thing is completely ludicrous. There’s just no logic to it.
