The Christmas holidays are well and truly over so I am back here with renewed commitment. And a renewed appreciation for Mary Poppins amongst other things.
Since I haven’t posted for a while, please bear with me if I am attempting to alert you to things you’ve already seen. I like to be on the ball but there are certain things it is just ESSENTIAL that you do not miss.
I’ll start with an exciting development in my life. In around July of last year, I moved from Galway to Dublin. As I hadn’t yet found accomodation I was staying with my parents for a while, and space is at a premium in their house (I mean, my sisters only have 2 rooms each! Poor things…but that’s a discussion for another day). As a result, my aunt offered to let me move my non-essentials into her attic until I found a new gaf. I took advantage of the situation and moved everything other than my clothes, laptop and toiletries in. I moved into a new place on September 1. I got my stuff back last Monday.
Procrastination is a big part of my life.
Unpacking was a nightmare, but it is nice to have all my stuff back. My Winter duvet in particular is appreciated. The reason I’m bringing this up however, has little to do with practicalities and everything to do with the wonder of hoarding. What I am about to show you I have held on to for 14 years, and am immeasurably grateful for that fact.
Ready? Here we go.
Yep. Yep. That’s right. A full set of Spice Girls Chupa Chups. I know, try to contain your jealousy, which is completely understandable by the way. These are the most awesome things I own, and I will never ever give them up. The feelings Rick Astley had for whoever he was singing to are nothing compared to how I feel about these babies.
BIG LOVE. x
